Louise Ricci Mulgrew grew up on the lower Westside of Cleveland in an Italian- American neighborhood. She was a tomboy, musician, marble champion and cosmetologist before she bucked tradition to marry her charming Irish-American husband, James (Jimmy) B. She married him on one condition — that they stay in “the neighborhood.” He was as good as his word as they raised their seven children there.
This blog is a step back in time. It recounts the memories, the myths, and the moments of a close-knit group of family and friends. In addition to her stellar career of wife and mother, Louise has added a new skill her to growing list of accomplishements – storyteller.
